Ball Above All week two produces a standout game


After a challenging year in 2020, Ball Above All is back in the basketball community in Dubai. With strict guidelines, the league is back in full swing and organizes 8 league categories a week. Men Elite, Semi-Elite, Division 3, Women Elite, Mixed, Youth Boys 12-15, Youth Boys 15-18 and Masters League (from 40 years). Week 2 of the first season of Ball Above All brought, as usual, some stunning games and competitive games.

The game of the week was without a doubt the Semi Elite Men game between Vikings and Dubai Flight. In the Women Elite League, Female Force played the BasicBall Academy, beating them 58-53. Ex-Jordanian Pro Rasha Abdo had almost three times the double performance of 24 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists.

Youth Boys 15-18 years finally started their first game. The Filipino team Last Shot beat the Penguins 66-45, King Cobras beat the All In Sports Youth Team 73-65, Sparsh Kadyan had a game with 31 points and 7 rebounds. The stat line of the night was without a doubt Alvin Tsela, who had an insane double-double performance of 36 points and 30 rebounds, a record in the Ball Above All-League, NY Elite defeating the Stars Basketball Academy 71-63.

Youth 12-15 years started its second week. Desert Raiders def. BasicBall Academy 80-37, Marc Kfoury had a game high of 23 points to improve his team. Ball Above All Academy won their game against Phases Academy 60-56, Mohamad El Masri had a triple double of 31 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists.

The Masters League had two blowout games with RHRN against Rock Skillz 81-46 and NMG against Amigos 89-60.
