Biden’s $ 1.9 billion Covid Relief Act passed the house vote

The president’s plan to send emergency aid battered by Covid-19 to households, small businesses, and state and local governments was passed early Saturday by 219-212 votes.

The bill will now go to the Senate, where Democrats face a challenge in hopes of using the minimum wage increase package.

The American bailout plan would pay for vaccines and medical supplies, and Democrats said the package was necessary to fight a pandemic that killed more than 500,000 Americans and left millions unemployed.

“The American people need to know that their government is there for them,” House spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi said in a debate on the floor of the house.
