Byblos will face Beirut in the final of the Lebanese Expats Basketball Championship after going through an exciting round of semi-finals.

The semifinals were full of action and surprises with wins for Byblos against Baalbek and Beirut against Zahle Team. The games were under the supervision of the Dubai Sports Council and the UAE Basketball Federation.

In the first game, Byblos managed to end the draw against Baalbek with a dominant performance from MVP Rawad Rahme, who finished the game with a whopping 40 points.

Thriller: Beirut meets Byblos in the finale

In the second semi-final, Beirut angered the favorites and won the Zahle team in a highly competitive game that ended with a narrow score of 79-75 and an inspired performance by Beirut’s Rony Khoury.

The most valuable players of the games each won a 200 AED Decathlon voucher and the awards were presented by the founder of High Five, Mr. Bahi Rifai.

The last game will take place on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. at the Al Wasl Sports Club. Immediately afterwards an award ceremony follows.
