Caricartoons want you to go out and vote for democratic and vibrant Europe
Ten of Europe’s most notable cartoonists have had their work animated to encourage folks to vote within the European elections from 6-9 June. Euronews solely presents their work in favour of a democratic, plural and vibrant Europe.
From 6 to 9 June, the residents of the 27 European Union nations will go to the polls to elect the 720 MEPs representing them within the European Parliament for the following 5 years.
At a time when criticism of the EU is mounting, when European democracies are being undermined by the spectre of warfare and the local weather disaster, and when the specter of abstention persists, the stakes are excessive.
That’s the reason Euronews, Europeans With out Borders and Cartooning for Peace are becoming a member of forces in a marketing campaign to boost public consciousness, encourage folks to vote and help freedom of expression via press cartoons.
From 20 Might to 9 June, 10 animations produced for Europeans With out Borders by the IDSIDE studio utilizing cartoons by 10 press cartoonists, members of Cartooning for Peace will probably be broadcast on Euronews and the companions’ social media.

The animated sequence is supported by the Hippocrène Basis, the Naumann Basis and the European Cultural Basis.
