The twists and turns of the American healthcare system can sometimes leave people lost, confused, and looking for answers. We have created a new video series – “Explained by KHN” – in which our correspondents and editors answer general questions about health care and health policy.
The $ 1.9 trillion aid package signed by President Joe Biden in March includes more money to help Americans pay their health insurance premiums for the next two years. KHN correspondent Emmarie Huetteman explains some of the changes that could help consumers.
KHN (Kaiser Health News) is a national newsroom that produces extensive journalism on health issues. Alongside Policy Analysis and Polling, KHN is one of the three most important operational programs of the KFF (Kaiser Family Foundation). KFF is a foundation that provides health information to the nation.
