Claudia Conway ends 2020 with a message of hope and gratitude.
The 16 year old is the daughter of Kellyanne Conway, a former campaign manager and senior counselor of President Donald Trumpas well as the co-founder of the Lincoln Project George Conway. Earlier this year, Claudia rose to fame on TikTok and gained a following after expressing views that differed from her conservative parents. She also revealed her tumultuous relationship with her family when Kellyanne decided to leave her role at the White House in August to focus on Claudia’s well-being.
In an Instagram post on December 31st, Claudia thanked the fans who had accompanied her during a rollercoaster year.
“I can’t quite express how grateful I am to write this. Sounds ironic, but I’m alive – something I didn’t think I would be anymore,” she wrote. “This year was my downfall, but by chance my uprising. I spent much of 2020 in the dark corners of my mind and lost myself and the essence of my soul. I let the darkness conquer me. I don’t really know how, but middle 2020, you have all stepped into my life. I gained a following for an app that I used for fun. To me, it’s not a superficial thing. It’s not about followers or demographics or whatever, it’s about how many people I can touch. I help you all, have guided me and given me meaning, and you are the only reason I’m alive right now. “
