New Balance celebrates heritage with the annual Gray Day

For the month of May, global sports guide New Balance will unveil the 2021 iteration of its highly anticipated collection for the annual Gray Day

Celebration of the brand heritage.

Every year New Balance celebrates over a century of independence with the color that proudly represents its history and has become synonymous

the brand: gray.

The 2021 collection includes two 574 models and a 57/40 counterpart: the classic gray 574; an exclusive 574 without the legendary New Balance “N” logo, called the 574 Un-N-thing; and a limited 57/40 completely gray color scheme. Retail prices are AED399 for the classic gray 574, AED449 for the 574 Un-N-

Ding and AED549 for the all-gray Limited 57/40 paint scheme.

First introduced in the 1980s, the 574 was a simple design experiment that combined the best of road and trail runners to create a real shoe for on the go. The 574 quickly blurred the lines between performance and everyday life and is now known around the world for its versatility, classic design and core
gray color synonymous with brand heritage.

With the slogan “Worn by Anyone”, the New Balance 574 was one of the most famous sneakers in the industry and is now one of the brand’s best-selling silhouettes. The Gray Day collection pays homage to the 574 in gray by releasing the original along with two redesigned styles. The New Balance 57/40 is a fresh interpretation of the legendary model and an allusion to the 574 franchise, while the Gray Day exclusively without the “N” 574 Un-N-Ding gives the classic shoe a unique touch by adding the oversized ” N ”from each side.

Several of its star athlete ambassadors will be represented in this year’s New Balance Gray Day campaign, including Coco Gauff, Jamal Murray, Sadio Mane, Sydney McLaughlin and Tiago Lemos, as well as Eduardo, Ascia and Hamad Young Picasso locally. By presenting the gray styles on some of its leading
New Balance, partner of athletes, reaffirms its heritage and versatility of the 574 and 57/40.
