The real housewives of Dallas‘ D’Andra Simmons was hospitalized after testing positive for the coronavirus.
The 51-year-old Bravo star was taken to a Dallas facility after an oxygen failure and she will soon begin treatment with the antiviral drug remdesivir.
“D’Andra Simmons tested positive for Covid and was admitted to the Covid department of UT Southwestern Hospital in Texas,” her publicist told E! Last week, D’Andra announced on Instagram that she was home and recovering from ankle replacement surgery. She posted a family photo showing her bandaged left leg on Saturday, December 26, and wrote in the caption that she felt “especially grateful” for friends and family this year.
