Team Rijab and Arab Star were named winners of Red Bull Neymar Jr.’s Five UAE tournament, which completed the final qualifying last weekend in Madar, Aljada, Sharjah’s popular entertainment destination.
The Rijab team defeated Mangawi in the men’s tournament final, while Arab Star defeated Shoroq and was the first UAE female team to compete in the Red Bull Neymar Jr. Five World Final at the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. in Praia Grande, Sao Paulo. Brazil.
The seven members of the two teams, made up of five main and two reserve players, have now received their boarding passes for the international tournament in Brazil later this year and will have the opportunity to meet and possibly face Neymar along with four of them his superstar friends in the world’s largest five-on-five tournament of its kind.

Driven by Arada, the main developer behind Aljada, the UAE edition began on February 19, and was attended by over 2,000 football enthusiasts who have played over 350 competitive games in 14 qualifying games in the Emirates, including two women’s-only qualifiers in the UAE. All qualifiers were conducted in accordance with local health measures and restrictions to ensure the safety of the community.
