The Italian football giant Juventus will open a new academy at Al Ittihad Private School in Al Mamzar, the oldest private school in Dubai.
An official signing ceremony was held with school officials, dignitaries, media and Juventus representatives. The academy is aimed at players ages 4 to 17 and starts in February.
The Juventus Academy is currently represented in seven locations in the United Arab Emirates with over 1000 players and over 30 Italian and European qualified coaches approved by Juventus in three Emirates.
The Juventus Academy project aims to help young players take their first steps in the football world by training them using the world-famous Juventus Method.
Max Caruso, General Director of IPS-M, said at the signing: “Today, through FFG Sports Management and the Juventus Academy, we are entering into a partnership with one of the most famous brands in Italy, Europe and the world, the big Juventus football club.”
Mohammed Lajam, Chairman of FFG Sports Management, added: “We are very excited to start this partnership with Al Ittihad Private School Al Mamzar. As an alumnus of the school, this partnership gives me a feeling of pride and joy in giving something back to the school that gave me a lot in my childhood and youth. We are ready to provide a great opportunity and service for the kids to practice their passion for football the Juventus way. “
In 2019, the project won Best Soccer Academy at the UAE Teen & Fitness Awards and Best Academy in the Middle East at the SPIA Awards.
