The rounds of the Fantasy Premier League are now coming close and fast. This is where the more committed managers can part with the casual gamers.
Looking to GW14, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea receive Leeds, Leicester and West Ham.
Meanwhile, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool travel to Everton, Southampton and Crystal Palace.
Here are some tips to walk you through GW14.
CAPTAIN – MOHAMED SALAH | LIVERPOOL | 12.3M.
He’s been good and consistent all season, but it’s only recently that his contributions have been highlighted for some reason. So many would be surprised to learn that Mohamed Salah is enjoying his best start to an FPL season yet.
The Egyptian has already collected 102 points, seven more than after GW13 in his record campaign 2017/18.
After his goal against Tottenham, he has 14 attacks this season, although he was not represented in GW9 against Leicester.
Salah continues to make a lot of shots and is the main threat to Liverpool as they travel to Crystal Palace, who haven’t conceded a goal since GW1.
HARRY KANE (10.9 m) suffered only his third place in the entire season against Liverpool after he had missed an absolute hit after a corner. He’s the tough guy for sure and Leicester’s visit is a great opportunity for him after a disappointing 2-2 loss to Everton.
CALLUM WILSON (6.6 m) has had an offensive result in four of his last six starts for Newcastle. A home game against Fulham should allow him to add to that record as Scott Parker’s side have only conceded a second straight clean sheet in GW13.
TO GET ONE
SERGIO AGUERO | MAN CITY | 10.3 m
Despite his reputation as one of the best strikers in Premier League history, Sergio Aguero is not a gamble right now. He has only made one league start this season and is prone to rotations, especially during this period of congestion in the games.
The risk may be worth it, however, as its price has dropped to 10.3 million and its share has fallen to just 1.3 percent. Fit now, he has the potential to be a massive difference.
But be warned, it’s a leap to get involved with him now.
ONE TO AVOID
TIMO WERNER | CHELSEA | 9.4M.
Timo Werner continues to play reasonably well, creates and uses the opportunities and generally passes the eye test.
But no points are awarded for this. With Chelsea also suffering two defeats on the go, this could mark the start of a difficult period for the Blues.
It has only had one attack return in the past four GWs, and it should be noted that it will be inactive during Blank Gameweek 18.
VLADIMIR COUFAL | WEST HAM | 4.6 million
Tomas Soucek is the most popular choice on West Ham’s budget, but Vladimir Coufal is also worth considering.
The Hammers have taken up the strange goal with four to their name so far and the right-back shows great attack potential. He got his third assist in GW13 and no defender has created more chances (13) in the last six GWs.
