UAE Polo Books place in the IFZA Silver Cup 2021 semi-finals


The UAE polo team secured a place in the semi-finals of the IFZA Silver Cup and won the qualifying game against the Zedan polo team.

The goals of Lucas Monteverde Jr. and Sheikha Maitha against Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum – patron of the UAE polo team – secured an exciting 12.5-5 victory that will take them to the next stage, where they will hit Bangash on Tuesday Polo meeting (2)nd February).

The Silver Cup is now in 11th Year as part of the DPGC series under the auspices of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. The series, which takes place at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club in Dubai, is one of only five tournaments worldwide to be played in the WPT Championship Cup category. As of 2009, the DPGC series tournaments have had a handicap of 10-12 goals and have now grown to host teams playing in handicap games with 18 goals.
