Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) won the third edition of the UAE Tour, the only WorldTour race in the Middle East, ahead of Adam Yates (Ineos Grenadiers) and João Almeida (Deceuninck – Quick-Step).
Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal) won the 7th stage, the Yas Island Stage, and defeated Sam Bennett (Deceuninck – Quick-Step) and Phil Bauhaus (Bahrain Victorious) in the final sprint of the race at the Abu Dhabi Breakwater.

Seconds after the end of the stage, the winner of the third edition of the UAE Tour Tadej Pogačar said: “This is really big. It was my first goal of the season and my first home race so it was really important and I’m super happy. My team and my teammates did a really good job and we won. This is one of our best accomplishments. I will definitely be returning to the UAE.”
Caleb EwanThe winner of the 7th stage said: “We came here to win a stage and there was only one left. I was under a little pressure to get a good result today. It was a bit of a relief when I crossed the line. I haven’t had that year without a win in my entire career. I have big plans for this year. This win will help me build my confidence before the races in Europe.“
