Vanessa Bryant thanks daughter Natalia for the length it traveled to pay tribute to papa Kobe Bryant over the weekend.
The late NBA Superstar was honored at the 2020 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class induction ceremony on Saturday, May 15. It had previously been delayed by eight months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After some fans noticed that Kobe and Vanessa’s eldest daughter didn’t attend the ceremony on Saturday, May 15, Vanessa took to Instagram the following day to praise Natalia, 18, for being in high despite her prom School had done everything possible to honor her father that happened to fall on the same day.
On May 16, Vanessa posted a selfie of herself kissing Natalia on the cheek while the teen was carrying a backpack and was about to catch a flight. The night before the ceremony, Natalia and her family attended the Tip-Off Celebration and Awards Gala at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, on May 14, and returned to Los Angeles the next morning.
